He graduated from the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic
Art in 1985. He went on to gain employment as a toy designer
at Hasbro
and Mattel, doing toy designs for such lines as G.I.
Joe and Transformers.
In 1988, Mark got his first work as an inker in the comic book
industry working for SQP on the titles Judge Dredd
and Blaine. From there he went on to work for almost
every major comic publisher including Marvel Comics, DC Comics,
Image Comics, Now Comics, Adventure Comics, and
CrossGen Comics. At those publishers his name appeared on
the credits pages of some of the industry's highest profile
projects such as; Eclipso, X-Men, the Violator

Knight, Backlash, The Tenth, Daredevil,

contributed his painting skills to many collectible card games
and role playing guides such as Legend of the Five Rings,
Hackmasters, and Third World. When he's not hard
at work, Mark likes to spend time helping his wife Cathy and
playing with their three children. In his free time he gets
away from the drawing board and out into the sunshine where
he plays golf and tennis.
His work
can currently be seen in the book "Sabortooth"
for Marvel Comics
